A calculation, not legal advice

The calculator applies the formula and tables of the Guidelines on Extended Producer Responsibility for plastic packaging (Schedule II to the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016) as amended up to the notification and read on the date shown, to the figures you type. It does not check your figures, does not file anything with CPCB or a State Pollution Control Board, and does not decide whether you are obligated or exempt. The rules in the Gazette, your registration and the figures on the EPR portal govern. Ask CPCB, your State Pollution Control Board or a lawyer before relying on the site for a decision that matters.

The site is not a CPCB service and is not affiliated with CPCB, any State Pollution Control Board or the Government of India. Registration, certificates and returns are made on the EPR portal.

The site is free and provided without warranty of accuracy, completeness or timeliness. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions taken on its results or for indirect loss. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
